Marinating Pork Chops?
I'm looking for any ideas on what you like to marinate Pork Chops in the best. I have some coating mix for Pork that I'm going to coat the pork chops in, but wanted to marinate them in something first.

here is a great recipe for marinaded chops
INGREDIENTS
3/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
1 tablespoon brown sugar
1 tablespoon chili sauce
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
8 center cut pork chops
DIRECTIONS
In a large resealable bag, mix together the soy sauce, lemon juice, brown sugar, chili sauce, and garlic powder.. Place the pork chops into the bag, carefully seal the bag, and marinate for 6-12 hours in the refrigerator. Turn the bag over about halfway through.
Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat.
Arrange pork chops on the lightly oiled grate, and cook 5 to 7 minutes on each side, until the internal temperature reaches 160 degrees F (70 degrees C).
hope you enjoy!

well i work at the meat house which is a butcher shop and we marinate all of our staek tips and chicken and also pork. i think that the best thing for marinated pork chops is a chubby's sweet bbq sauce. im not sure if it will be in a store where you live but in maine we have it in all sorts of stores. check out some good ideas @ www.themeathouse.com

why do you want your pork chops to taste like olives? I don't ever marinate any meats. I sprinkle them with salt and pepper, sometimes pork chops with sage then fry or broil them. If frying I dredge them in flour before placing in the hot oil, but never olive oil as it is NOT good to fry with. Burning point for one thing is too low to fry at the proper temperature!! ALWAYS fry in 100% Vegetable Oil which includes canola oil.

I use beer, worsteshire, a splash of soy sauce, lime juice & Snyder's Prime Rib seasoning (I use that on almost everything)! Let it marinate in the fridge for a couple hours & you're good to go! I don't know that I'd coat them though, just through them in the skillet or bake them!

try coating them in some type of mustard, such as dijon, honey, or creamy spicy. after they are done marinating the mustard will serve as a binder for the coating to stick to. after coating put the chops back in the fridge for an hour or so to set the coating.

I marinate my chops in orange juice and chopped basil, don't coat them.
It's not a combination i would of thought worked well, but they were really tasty, marinate them 24hrs before, serve with salad, or veggies. :)

Probably if you have a coating, you wouldn't need to marinate. I've never found a need to marinate them.

Terriake sauce is awesome. Poke the chops with a fork pour the terriake sauce over them and let them soak over nite.
