So your computer will not let you download Adobe Flash Player 9, yet you say you have downloaded it about 15 times?
Go here:
http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/
I would disable Norton Internet Security first. You should only have to click on the Norton icon in your system tray.
Follow the directions. You should not have to restart your computer for Flash player to install.
Once it is installed correctly, it will tell you right on that page.

I'm having the same problem with Vista. If you go to the download page the activex is not dropping down. Works fine in Firefox. I'm also getting a errors on page message - library not registered in explorer.
I have downloaded flash from the ftp site but not sure where to extract it to

If you are looking for an actual player like Windows Media Player or Winamp, there is none!
Flash player simply allows embedded flash videos to play in web-pages.
There is no program to open. Flash player is just an active-X control.

Does it bring up an information bar at the top of the screen? If it does, you need to click that. Is it downloading but not installing? Save the file to your desktop, instead of just opening it, so that you can find out why nothing happens.
