Some time ago...I and just one other fellow was working in this Men's boutique. To say the least, It had been a pretty slow day and a boring one at that. One lone customer came in and my fellow associate greeted him and then promptly started showing some of the latest arrivals. Suddenly my attention was interrupted by the sound of the brass bell chiming over the door as a tall, handsome, impeccably dressed gentleman strolled in. As our eyes locked, we met each other half way in the middle of the room. Smiling warmly at him I asked, " Is there something I can assist you with today?" Returning my smile he answered, "Why yes! You may give me all the money in the register." Suddenly I found my eyes staring down the barrel of a very large, black gun. Ever so gently, with his free hand he whirled me around. Lodging the gun in my back, he escorted me over to the register. Opening it, I started to stuff a bag with the paper money. With the residue of that initial smile still frozen to my face, I asked. "Do you want the change too?" When the police arrived they asked me if there was anything I could recall that was unusual about the robber. I found myself repeating..."He had a very large, black gun." Unfortunately, the gun was the best description I could offer. I couldn't remember his face!

We were caught in the middle of a railroad trestle as a freight train rumbled by. We had just enough time to reach an outbrance before the train passed us.

I can still feel the trestle shaking and the force of the wind blowing us away from the tracks as the train passed within inches of our faces.

I got really ill and nobody could tell me what was wrong. I was 24 hours from dying when finally diagnosed with Addisons Disease. Was so scared of leaving my daughter motherless. I'm not scared of dying as I'm a Christian but my daughter needs me. I'm on steroids for rest of my life in order to stay alive but I'm not going anywhere.

Developing manic depression, discovering my mother had a thyroid tumour, passing out and not knowing if I had been raped in the morning...life can be pretty interesting!
