    Example of "GHaving Recognized":

Often in this busy world we find ourself rushing through the day pre-occupied with a million and one things things on our mind. As a result of being pre-occupied you may find yourself making your way through the crowd on "auto pilot" thinking to yourself:

"What do I have to do to prepare for the next class - I know it was something I was supposed to get from the library but I forgot what, OH make a mental note to self to pick up the dry-cleaning after school, oh crap - I just have to call Jan about Cathy's party friday night, I really gotta borrow that really cute little black top from Cindy for Cathy's party - God I hope Josh is going - he's such a hottie!"

OUCH!!! Hey watch where your going you big - JOSH - I'm so sorry - I didn't realize it was you, I was just so wrapped up in thought that I , - what? Would I Would I????? YES YES OF COURSE I want to go to Cathy's Party with you! Yes Friday night - 7:00 is cool, OK Yes , bye.

Did you get the having recognized part? Hope you did. Sometimes a working example is more effective than an explaination - if the example was confusing let's try this: "Having recognized means that you are at first unaware or not cognizent of a familar place of person then all of a sudden you make the mental connection and then recognition comes rushing in - some of us who are getting older call this a "Senior Moment".
