Do spiders attack humans in their sleep?
Yes, my daughter was bit twice on her cheek just last night. She found the brown spider this morning when making her bed. The bites are quite red and far more itchy than a mosquito bite. There's no other plausible culprit BUT the spider.

No. Spiders do not attack humans unless provoked. It is possible that one could be strolling across the bed at night. Then, if it felt it was under attack because of the human's dream-state movements, it might bite.

I suppose if they felt threatened they could. But generally they don't. You'd have a greater chance of killing it than it attacking you.
