Does anyone know anything about hutongs in Beijing? I was wondering if anyone knows the current laws about the destruction of the hutongs. Where can they be destroyed? Can people refuse to sell their hutong? How much money does the government give people to sell them their hutongs? Is it enough to buy an apartment? Where are people sent to live after selling their hutong? How does the government decide which hutongs to destroy?
