I had a sudden surge of anxiety and emotion while driving home today and I don't know what to do about it. I suddenly felt extremely stressed about something, then burst into tears, almost hysterical tears, and felt like something awful was about to happen, or already had happened. I'm sure it wasn't really a premonition or anything, but I still feel sick to my stomach and nervous. I have no idea what I could be nervous about. I'm not particularly stressed about anything...Any ideas on what just happened?

I am working on a program in MATLAB in which I am trying to group certain ranges of numbers in a matrix into bins. I am trying to figure out how to do that. I think this would be better explained with an example. If A = [5.16,3.21,6.87,9.11,2.55,2.90,1.46,4.67,8.29] I want to create 5 bins. b1 is the numbers in A between 1 and 2, b2 is the numbers in A between 2 and 3, b3 is the numbers in A between 3 and 4, etc. Does anyone have any idea how I would go about doing this?

I was buying a bunch of green bathroom stuff at the store and a Chilean mother and daughter were talking in Spanish behind me. They mentioned that girls who like green have some kind of characteristic in general and I was curious what that could be, in terms of Spanish or Chilean culture. My language skills did not stretch far enough to understand them and now I'm curious what they might have said.

I am trying to find the fractional difference between two equations. For some reason I can't figure out exactly what that means. Is it just the difference between the equations divided by one or the other of the equations?

My college lacks a good health food restaurant and we are coming up with a proposal to start one. Unfortunately, we feel that students should not run the restaurant. How would one go about giving the idea to a restaurateur so that they would start and run the restaurant? Is there some kind of listing of restaurateurs? How would we find a potential manager and owner if we had our own ideas for a menu? Would they be interested at all in what we want? Any help is greatly appreciated!

I'm 17, 5 foot 6 1/2 and 140 pounds and a girl...I just feel weird because I have gained a lot of weight in the past year (35 pounds) and I don't think that's healthy and I can't figure out what's going on and my self-esteem is going out the window. I run a lot, I don't gorge on food or anything like that...I just can't figure out what's making me gain so much weight!!! I have always been underweight, not overweight...and I feel like I'm in the wrong body! Help!

So basically, I have been really depressed and anxious lately and I don't really know why. Things like my weight, which to be honest is not a problem, are bothering me and I find myself breaking into tears randomly. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I just don't understand what could possibly lead someone to kill so many innocent people as were killed in the Virginia Tech shooting and the Columbine High School shooting. I am wondering if anyone can give me any insight into the question. I am just stunned that this happened...
