Absolutely! Tom Brady, Joe Montana, were two that were drafted low, and turned out to be great quarterbacks. Of course Ryan Leaf was a great example of how a top pick doesn't ensure success. However, Peyton Manning, John Elway, and many, many others were drafted high, and turned out to be great. If you look at statistics the good quarterbacks are always drafted high, although clearly one can find a gem in other rounds, or in free-agency.

Obviously, you draft based on your needs and QB is not always the need. Some of the best players have been taken round 6 or 7. Terrell Davis was late in the 6th round. If not for injuries, he would still be the starter in Denver.

It relates directly to their overall ranking in the upcoming Madden '08 game coming in August though. That's important!
I'm not sure exactly who you're singling out with this question but there's bound to be silly talk when you use a site run by kids such as this to try to discuss serious football.

I agree, but when you find the perfect match, like Quinn and Miami and pass, then you are an idiot owner and war room.
