can i paint lacquer over photo paper? what kind?
need to seal photographs glued to wood and perhaps give it a gloss or matte finish?
no brand names please, the ones i see on the net aren't available where i am, and there are no craft stores here either! i'd appreciate a description of the type i should use so i can look for a match elsewhere (bookstore or hardware store). thanks in advance. =)

Mod Podge is what women used to use on photos put on wooden purses and on wooden picture frames in the 1970's.
It sealed them and made them waterproof.
