it's written in our genetic code... as a species... men are drawn by an instinct to procreate...to pass along their own genetic code... to succeed they need as many partners as they can accomodate... women... are also drawn to this... however their insitinct drives them to search out genetically superior specimens... which means they are drawn to aesthetically pleasing partners... as to that... women... also require a "partnership" for security and assistance in rearing the offspring... this means that out of necessity they try and bond emotionally to the most attractive partner...

So... although it may be genetic... that's not to say that people are not primordially driven... that they cannot over ride these instincts to live a traditional family life...

First, I want to say that you're very shallow if you judge people by their physical appearances. That "ugly" person might have attributes that some "beautiful" people should have, but don't. Beauty fades, but dumb is forever.

But, if you're seriously asking why men can have sex without the emotional feelings, then I'll answer that. Most men and women are different when it comes to sex. Most women need the emotional attachment in order to have a sexual relationship with someone. With most men it's the complete opposite, they don't have to have an emotional attachment to their sex partner. That's one of the reasons that you see more men go to prostitutes or have one night stands.

Stop judging the men woman do the same thing . You need to learn that we are humans man and woman and all think differently . Why don't you think men don't get attached ? Is it because you slept with a guy and he left you ? Maybe you where to ugly for him . Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.

To answer your question, a lot of people lower their standards of perfection, for sexual convenience. I've seen women do it as well as men.
