I'm buying my first car next week(Expedition) and I want to know how much on gas ill spend?
I know nothing about driving or mileage or anything car related.
I just know that the Ford Expedition is a beautiful creature and im buying one.People tell me im going to spend alot of money on gas, they tell me outrageous prices like 150$ a week.My friends clearly are just jealous liars.
I have no Idea on my daily mileage though.About how much gas does a an expedition use?How much is a gallon of gas?(ive been in a cave I know)What are some gas conserving tips?

Depends on the price of gas in your area.
An Expedition gas tank its bout 40-45 gallons...and yes, you will pay a lot in gas if you drive it a lot.
Average cost to fill an Expedition tank: 40 gal tank times 3.13 per gallon is 125.00
Less if your gas prices are lower where ya live.
I would never buy an Expedition based on its looks....They ARE gas guzzlers. I would go with a Ford Edge, or Ford Explorer..Which are smaller SUV's. OR better yet go for a car, or a Hybrid vehicle. You get better gas mileage.
But If you drive a lot $150 is average weekly spent on gas for bigger vehicles.
Gas conserving: Buy a bicycle and drive as little as possible, look towards getting a more gas economical vehicle(your payments are lower, insurance is lower, and gas will be less), If you intend on driving your friends around get gas money up front.

Do yourself a favor and DON'T BUY AN EXPEDITION! On top of the fact that they're resales value is horrible, you'll be getting an amazing 10 miles per gallon, which is really bad if you didnt know. Don't pay attention to window stickers for mpg. They don't take into account real world scenarios, such as driving in the rain, using the airconditioner, rear defroster, using 4WD and stop and go driving. If you need that kind of passenger space or cargo capacity, look at a crossover vehicle (Pacifica, Edge, Murano) or a minivan.

Have tried the recent Toyota Camy Hybrid 4 door sedan. It does 40 city and 38 street. you are able to equipped it to be much extra luxury. Its a toyota so its reliable, its a hybrid so its realiable. yet once you elect something else basically keep those issues in ideas in case you opt to maintain gas on any automobile you positioned your eyes on. Get the backside engine. valuable the acceleration wont be good and you will conflict somewhat whilst attempting to overhaul yet base engines supplies you the final gas financial equipment in maximum automobiles. Get the small wheels. valuable DUBS are super to look at yet they are heavy to roll which advance gas value. So carry on with the familiar tires yet you are able to constantly upload the alternative alloys rather of the grotesque metallic rims. purchase automobile on your length and want. Do you somewhat need than humungous 7 sequence or that trip. Going for small or midsize automobiles already places you in gas financial equipment course. So pass out and tension. %. the fashions that catches your eye

Look on Yahoo autos, Edmunds or on the car sticker. It should tell you the annual fuel cost. It also matters how much you drive it and how you drive it. As an average $30 to $40 per week so your friends aren't that far off.

You will use very little if you drive it very little. Just from the cave to the store and back and park it.
If all you do is drive and drive for no reason then expect to pay pay pay. And that applies whether you have a Hummer or an economical car.
