History Channel Special : AntiChrist?

Add religion to any discussion and all sense goes out the window.

The history channel seems to be obsessed with non-historical nonsense lately, the Da Vinci Code, Jesus, Revelation, etc.

I preferred when they stuck to reality.

They have no idea. With the greatest respect to those able to cut and paste great wads of words.

I say this because they miss the whole point of the significance of the anti-christ.

The Cathars, the gnostics believed the anti-christ was the sign of the second coming. Let me explain.

If you take everything literally then you might think antichrist = evil person = end of the world. But the word is made up of two distinct words from greek anti- against (being) christ.

To be a christ, or messiah you have to be of royal blood. More specifically, you have to be of the Line of the Kings of Judah. I'm sorry if you don;t believe, but this is it. You can't be a christ of anything under the law of Judaism- upon which the New Testament claims Jesus fulfilled unless you believe this essential rule.

So the anti-christ is not a person bent on evil but one who legitimately has claim to be the messiah but chooses not to.

How could this be?

In our world where even people on death row are celebrities, how could a person with the power to be called a messiah choose to deny the title, to stand alone, to face the ridicule and hatred of millions by accepting the title of anti-christ- the last messiah?

Because that is what is meant by the words written.

So I wouldn't pin my hopes on any TV show showing anything accurate. Instead, I'd look for the signs that are all around you of a person (definately not a politician) who fits the bill.

I wonder. If it's nonsense, why are you worried about it? Just continue on your merry little way, and forget about it. It's no big deal, right? Since you don't believe in God or the devil, they can't have any effect on you, can they? If the antichrist turns out to be real, you probably wouldn't recognize him because you didn't bother to find out if it was true. Because it was just religion...

Well I mean he'd have to, I want to know how you make an anti-christ I mean especially since the devil is supposedly one thing. UNLESS they can make the devil a trinity too! Thats it they can't have "The Devil" coming up because that makes it to quick and not as scary so they get this Anti-christ person to come along stir things up a bit and THEN get the whole battle between good and evil over. IT'S PERFECT... if you like scare tactics that is.

AntiChrist DOES exist already.

I can, for an example, doubt the existence of the atom. Does that mean it isn't real?

You can doubt the existence of God and the Devil, but ?

The best way to kill someone is to make them think that you are not there. This is one of the tricks Satan has been doing to people.

Antichrist will not be born of the womb or possess a human body. Satan is Antichrist and will be supernatural and able to perform miracles to deceive the whole world. “Anti” in the Greek means “instead of” or instead of Christ.

Maybe the next chapter of the bible should feature the "Holy Justice League" of supernatural beings fighting against "Satan's Legions".............coming to a cinema near you in 3D

the antichrist is actually a deciving leader who will tell people to go against christianity. At first he will act powerful and will be able to perform miracles and many people will belive him, but eventually he will turn into a power leader who starts executioning christians. In the end, all who followed the antichrist, in fact anybody who didnt follow God or stick with him, will go to hell.

I know the documentaries(the true Jesus etc) you are on about,they suck.

I wouldnt touch them.Its all crap.
