Question about ovulation & TTC?
I'm TTC & today was my predicted ovulation day (according to mymonthlycycle.com which has a very accurate ovulation calculator). When I woke up this morning and I used the bathroom, when I whiped there was a tiny bit of blood.. nothing too red, it was much lighter a pinkish color. Why is this? After I got out of the shower, I peed again and it was no longer any blood. Is this normal? I had sex later on in the day and am hoping that my miracle comes along! Please pray.. also, please explain the light blood. God Bless!

I would politely disagree with the earlier answer. It is unlikely to be implantation bleeding. Implantation doesn't take place until several days after ovulation.
As far as what caused the bleeding, there are many possiblities. It could be coming from deep in the uterine lining OR it could be from the cervix or vagina. Think about if you spit up some blood. It could be from your stomach, your lungs or just from a cut in the gums.
Bleeding like this (especially if just light) is not serious. The big picture is what can be done to help you get pregnant soon. The answer depends on several factors, such as your age, how long you've been wanting a baby etc. Good luck!

Ovulation spotting: Some women see slight spotting at the time of ovulation. This is quite rare, but you may see that your cervical fluid is streaked with blood or has a pink tinge. If you do notice this and it is accompanied by fertile cervical fluid (eggwhite or watery) enter the cervical fluid as eggwhite or watery but make a note about the spotting in your notes section. If it is heavy or lasts longer than a day, you should ask your doctor about it.

When you body releases the egg from the ovary... ( ovulation)..... there can be a little "break through" bleeding. That might be what happened.... it always happens to me. As for implantation bleeding.... not possible....... you hadn't even had sex yet........... unless of course the implanatation is from a prior rendezvous you had. 8)
Good Luck .....
