What is your opinion that U.S. entry into WWII helped end our Great Depression?
I have heard from many people that our entry into WWII was the cause for our rise out of the Depression, but some people have stated their thoughts to the contrary. I was wondering what a greater selection of people thought, and why?

Well yes. War brings economic gain and WWII was no exception. When the US went to war they needed weapons and ammunition. They couldn't trade for it because everyone else was in the war too. They had to put people to work, without anyone fighting on US soil everyone came to the US for their supplies. With this new revenue we were able to pull out of the depression.

the huge spending for the time of WW2 brought about a recession following the conflict - too many workers coming back from the conflict, and the ballooned unfavourable. as far as FDR's strategies, that they had in straight forward terms non everlasting helpful effects. industry nevertheless did no longer seize as much as needed productiveness levels because of fact the remainder of the international, or perhaps the U. S. have been nevertheless affected by the effect of the melancholy. The marginal "prosperity" replaced into based upon endured government "artwork" projects. those projects have been oftentimes mandatory, yet surely did no longer something to ease long-term issues of the financial gadget. interior the quick term, the people benefited, and households have been saved. yet that can in straight forward terms final for the quick term, then the debt starts off coming due.

well I would say that it was our entry into ww2 that helped the us out of the great depression...
but perhaps more like Russias...the US basically made the tanks/planes/guns that the russians used to fight the nazis..
which in turn helped the US economy...the US men still weren't fighting ..therefore could provide for a large workforce..
once we joined the war though...we had to invest in our own war machine efforts and had to rely on women to fill men's roles in the workplace..which was sorta counterproductive as a whole
