I need a Platy Predator, suggestions?

My tank has been taken over by the platies (except for a few cories). I want some diversity in the tank (30 gal. vertical) and was thinking I could get some sort of preditor that might, umm.. eat platies, at least the babies. It should be compatible with platy evirons, as my ph is a little high. Or am I going about this the wrong way entirely?

Large angelfish will do it. They'll feed on small guppies, baby platies will do as well. Large platies are too big.

Other predators like Oscars will eat all the platies.

Here's the perfect predator to wipe every platty out one by one....

Exodon paradoxus.... The Buck Toothed Tetra.

They're freaking amazingly fast, darty, bitey, mean little guys about 3 times the size of platy's. They are the meanest little creatures I've ever seen. Sometimes my local store owner will give me a good show by dropping a few plattys in a tank with one of these guys. Their antagonism is unmatched.

After you kill them off, return him, or get some catfish looking things to go along with him. You can't build a diverse community around him since he's so mean though.

Bala Sharks get very great, similar with Tinfoil Barbs and Angel Fish. Goldfish are a chilly water fish. you want to keep the dimensions of fish truly the same, platies and swordtails are too small on your angels and exceptionally the Bala. you may want to opt to re-evaluate your list the following because that is totally scattered.

How about selling the platies to a store or maybe trading them for fish food. Many stores are willing to do that for good quality fish.

A small catfish with outward (not downward whiskers) like a bumble bee catfish. Just be careful you don't get a catfish that will grow too big. As they will eat anything that fit in their mouths.

    Don't kill them.

Believe me, the pet store will really want to take them.

    They want free fish, lol...

A beta will love live food, and you can keep one, and not have to worry about it breeding. Make sure you don't get your tank overstocked though.
