How do you remove mold from a shingle roof?

    You sure it's mold or could it be moss or algae?

    You can test for mold with Qtips dipped in chlorine bleach and touched onto the shingle. If the "mold" disappears, it's mold.

    Mix bleach and water take a soft brush and lightly scrub the shingles.

    I saw them using 1 part bleach 9 parts water solution- with a brush on a home improvement show.

    Use a power washer with some mildew cleaner, afterward reseal it to keep it protected. They sell the cleaner and sealer at Home Depot.
