I love reading books. They are my indispensable companions - a constant source of knowledge and joy.
There is a difference between what I used to read before and what I am reading now.
Story books are relaxing but books on current affairs and many topics open up new sources of knowledge.
These days I spend more time reading books on specific topics like world economic trends, geopolitics, globalization, climate change, psychological and health problems, spirituality, computers and electronic gadgets.
When I read magazines and story books to relax, I have nothing much to talk about. But, when I read books on specific topics, it gives me a tremendous joy and satisfaction by sharing my knowledge with others This is the main reason for my participation in Yahoo Answers.
When some of my answers are accepted, it gives me an incentive to buy and read more books.

I have hundreds of books that I bought at book sales or received as gifts.

None of the above! I think to some serious book lovers, books are living entities, which have given them company and security, from their childhood days to when they have become old people!

I love to read. A lot of the messages in my e box involves a lot of reading. When
I was a child I read Shakespeare, and a lot of the old classics.
