It sounds like you are being very smart about eating healthy and exercising (Make sure you get that tooth taken care of too!!). With my 1st pregnancy, I actually lost 10 pounds in the first trimester due to constant nausea. I regained up to my pre-pregnancy weight at 20 weeks, and started having normal weight gain after that. My gaining pattern with my 3 pregnancies were all very different, but I gained about 35 pounds with each--which is within the normal limits. As long as you are eating a normal amount of food from healthy sources (lots of vegetables, fruit, lean meats, etc), and exercising, I wouldn't worry about your weight too much. I hope the rest of your pregnancy goes smoothly!

NO WAY. I'm 71/2 months and I've gained almost 50 pounds, and I started out only at 125. It changes for everyone though, but with most women I've talked to they've gained about 50 pounds or even more. That's such a touchy topic cause it changes for everyone. But that's not high at all, when I was 5 months I had gained like 35 pounds already. Don't worry about it. Good Luck!

It's different if you're a little overweight. I was overweight when I got pregnant, had only gained 4 pounds by the time I delivered my son, he was healthy and weighed 8 lbs 2 oz. I weighed myself the next day, and was 25 pounds lighter than when we conceived. And I was perfectly healthy, and ate really healthy during the whole pregnancy. Had I eaten that healthy before I got pregnant, I wouldn't have been so overweight to begin with.

If your wisdom tooth is hurting and it's effecting how much you can eat, you might want to talk to your doctor. You need to make sure you're getting all of the vitamins that the baby needs. Other than that, just make sure you're eating right and you'll be fine. As long as the baby's growth continues to measure well, you have nothing to worry about.

Sounds to me as if your concern is too much emphasis on your weight situation. Ideally, pregnancy is 20 pounds total by the end of the 3rd trimester. The weight gain is accounting for say, six pounds for the baby weight, and the rest is for the the nessesary preparation for the maintenance of the pregnancy--that is, water bag, etc.. Keep up the good healthy eating habits and the exercise program and let nature take its place. Before you know it, those pounds will come on in a healthy manner. Remember you are an individual with individual physical traits and characterisitics which attribute to your pregnancy in many ways. Enjoy!

Dont worry unless your doctor is concerned. If you have a little weight on u right now, then chances are the doctor is fine with it. If u were underweight, then it would be a problem. You are just beginning your 5 th month, so u have plenty of time to gain weight.

A friend of mine lost about 16 pounds due to morning sickness when she first got pregnant. During her pregnancy, she gained the same amount and gave birth at her original prepreg weight. How ironic?

So, dont worry unless they tell u about anemia or something like that. U will be fine and continue to eat healthy and take your vitamins.

    Good luck and congrats.

It sounds to me like you are just healthier now than before you were pregnant. You are working out and eating healthy. When I became pregnant, I did the same thing because I didn't want to gain too much weight. I was about 5 mths pregnant when I had to go up in clothes sizes. I am sure you are okay, just be sure you are taking your prenatal vitamins. Congratulations!

From personal experience: I did not gain any weight until my 5th month. When I was weighed at my fourth month I had lost 4lbs then when my 5th month came, i had gained those 4lbs back after that I gradually gained weight. My dr told me it was perfectly normal as long as I was eating right and drinking right.

it's ok, you usually gain weight around your 7th months (about a pound a week)
