as a small business owner, or a large business owner, or a private person - you cannot protect yourself against lawsuits of that magnitude.
the only protection you would have is bankruptcy, should a verdict to that amount actually be reached and survive on appeal - which i highly doubt.

Talk about abuse of power and frivolous lawsuits.
There is no way in hell anyone deserves $65 million for a pair of pants that got lost. Period. The $12,000 they offered him was ridiculous.

Hopefully the judge will not even let it get to trial. That is so bloody stupid...I hope that they, the man bringing the suit will have to pay for wasting peoples time.
