I run a daycare and am out of ideas for mothers day. Anyone have fun ideas kids (mostly 2 year olds) can make their mothers?

Oh, I was looking at a web page yesterday with all sorts of great ideas.

Buy (or Make) a fabric bag, (they are usually cream colored) and have the kids put their painted hand prints on it (with fabric paint) then put their names on it and the date.

Use a juice container, you know the kind from concentrated frozen juice, and glue crayons or sticks (cinnamon would be great) around the can, tie a pretty ribbon around it, and use it as a flower vase.

plaster molds of hands or feet (i am sure you have done this alot)

My day care lady last year had tara cotta planters, had the children paint them, then she purchased a flat (or less, depending on the amount of kids) and they planted us some plants. I think they were petunias.

As a mother, trust me, whatever they make, the mothers will love.

My favorite gifts that my kids bring home from school are the ones that they make something and then include their picture in it. For example, a card or a magnet that they decorate and put their photo on as a center. One thing that would be a cute idea would be a sunflower to hang in the window that the kids could cut out and glue and then put their picture in the middle.

you may get a plaster hand print equipment in any craft area at walmart or a craft keep. Make a mildew of your childs hand or foot. Now here comes the messy area. Get some unhazardous craft paint and supply your baby a paint brush. it relatively is beneficial to do the 1st coat of paint on your very own in a stable color, yet then enable your baby paint on it relatively is specific touches. this could be a keepsake that she would be in a position to continuously treasure. selfmade products are continuously the suited! have exciting!

Get a tape recorder and go to a dollar store to buy some blank tapes. Ask them why they love their mommies and tape it. Then wrap the tape and put them in a gift bags so they can give it to their moms.
