my laptop is a refurbished one, sent to me cuz the old one kept freakin out, how do i solve these problems:?
my refurbished computer was sent to me with another warranty and a set of restart discs. except months down the road when i had to actually use them to install software, they now tell me they are not compatable. also, my router has gone APESHIT and used to work fine. now every 10 min it disconnects and my program defaults won't stay on Microsoft setting. WTF? help
the discs that came with it are not recognized.

If you have not already do a full virus,ad ware,spy ware sweep of your computer. You may also have to go on line to update your drivers you should be able to find the right ones on the manufacturer's website. If none of theses steps work then you should completely reinstall windows instead of doing a recovery this will completely clean your hard drive and let you start fresh. This should solve your problems but you will still need to have the right drivers when you reinstall the operating system I recommend burning them to disk after you find the correct ones. Hopefully they gave you a disk with your operating system on it.Also the product key for the disk.Good luck
