Why do we always want what we cant?

I always try to be rational about it. If I was a sleaze bag I am sure that I could be out getting it. Sometimes a person is better off being reserved and if something good comes along you will know it. It never works when we force it. It being the desire to be loved. I know my place on earth and I am used to being alone, so wanting something beautiful is always reduced to whether or not it is worth the effort.

I don't know! My girlfriend always says "you always want what you can't have don't you" right after she gives me just what I want. I've never asked what she means but now I will.
