The opppsite of Diabetic?

Diabetis runs in my family. My younger brother experienced shaking, and hunger this morning when he woke up...That's how he described it to me. I am wondering if his glucose stays low, or if it has something to do with it. He has had this happen before, I told my mom to take him to the doctor, and she hasn't done it. Anyone have any info? Thank You

The opposite of Diabetes is Hypoglycemia. You can pass out from low blood sugar.... I've had some problems with this if I don't eat right or often enough. To avoid problems he needs to get some natural sugar, like a small cup of orange juice, for example. He should have his sugar checked when he is feeling these symptoms to be sure that is what the problem is. Mine was so low that I could hardly see and I was light-headed and very weak. Eating regularly will help him a lot and having a little something in between meals will help. If you check for his sugar level and it seems fine, really he should get to a doctor because it might be something that needs immediate medical help. Blood sugar is easily monitored and can have easy treatment with diet, etc., but if it's something else, then your mother really needs to know so that his health is not on the line. I hope you the best in figuring this out and helping your brother.

Look up "Diabetes symptoms". Does sound like he is experiencing low blood sugar in the morning. Read up a little so he can be prepared and what to do when he feels like that. Have his mom bring him to be checked out as soon as she can. Good luck!
