Mozilla Firefox issues ... won't open?
I just downloaded Mozilla Firefox today, and I opened it and it was working perfectly (better than Internet Explorer, too!) and then I had to restart my computer for a few computer updates to take effect. When it loaded up again, I could not open Firefox. I clicked, and it didn't even attempt to load. I reinstalled -- wouldn't load. I uninstalled, reinstalled -- wouldn't load.
I'd really like to keep using Firefox, but ... what is the issue here?

Might be a problem with the download itself. I would give it a few minutes and uninstall one more time... clear out your cookies, and download again. Mine works fine.

If there was an internet exploder update in the packages you downloaded it may have disabled firefox, redownload it and try to reinstall it from that!

This happens to me sometimes.
Try the following:
Press ctrl + alt + delete to bring the task manager.
Under the processes tab look for firefox.exe and end it.
try opening firefox again, it should be OK.
