make a rue and add it to the drippings from the meat you just cooked and add water and put the sauce on the meat when it is the texture you like and enjoy.

I'd take some butter, melt it down in a sauce pan, add

tablespoons of white flour, let cook for a few minutes, then add drippings from chicken or steak to it until it forms a nice sauce like consistency... to this you can add any other seasonings you desire
