I need more power for my car? Anything else I can add besides a turbo or supercharger kit?
I have a Pontiac Vibe and when me and my friends go out in my car, my struggles to carry us all. I don't want to be racing just a little more umph! I don't want to buy the turbo for my car cause I don't have that kind of money. Can anyone give me any suggestions for getting a little more power?

You may want to change your exhaust system, headers, muffler, a higher octane gas. Also check and see what you have as an air intake connector. If it has an accordion type of hose feeding your fuel system try and find one that is smooth. You want something that does not restrict the air flow. The air needs to move with little or no restriction. Check and see if there is something you can remove that you do not need to lessen the weight of your car. If you can change the two items above you may gain between 10 to 20 horsepower. There are a lot of small changes you can make that could boost your horse power.

some mufflers can increse the acceleration and top speed a bit if professionaly put on, a mate of mine got the muffler off ebay for $43 and got it put on for jus $60 and it has helped his car get a bit more power.
