I know that rubber ducks are popular. My sister-in-law collects squirrels. My adopted Grandma collects elephants. What are other commonly collected animals?

something that you really like that's easily obtainable is a good way to start. Don't buy anything for the sake of future perceived value, buy it or acquisition because it is valuable to you. I collect cream pitchers, and coffee mugs and paper, lots of paper. If you have a china cupboard, you can display small collections. little gumball machine toys are my favorite around my computer.

As a child (and a little to this day) I collected horses. :D It's great hobby.

I collect monkeys! I got my first one the day i was born and it just kind of stuck! i LOVE monkeys, they are so adorable!

My best girlfriend collect penguins! Anything and everything.. but espically stuff ones...
