Volvo’s “Bear Foot” Misstep is a marketing ethics case study that was done in my MBA program. It's about misleading print and commercial ads that depict a Volvo Bear Foot truck being the only one to withstand the weight of a 5-ton monster truck on its roof without collapsing. The ads didn't advise that the Volvo had been structurally altered. This was all investigated by the Texas attorney general.
