If I do poorly on an AP Exam such as AP Statistics will it hurt me?
I am taking the AP Statistics exam tommorrow and unfortunately I don't feel as though I will do good even after a lot of studying. I was wondering if it would hurt me in any way and hurt my chances of getting into a good college?
Also I have taken the AP Glbal exam and got a 4 on it.
I will also take future exams such as the AP US History, AP AB Calculus and others.
Will the potentially bad grade on Statistics affect those other exams if colleges want to look at all of them?
Thank you for the help in advance.

If your grade totally stinks, you can get it canceled and the colleges won't even see it. However, if you specify a college on there, you have to cancel it BEFORE JUNE 15 or they'll get the grade! Be careful!
I just took an AP exam today (AP US Govt + Pol) so I just read all the stuff. If you don't think you're going to do well just don't put a college down. That way you can just cancel the grade once you get it and no one will ever see it (it's like the test never happened). You can always submit to a college later for like $15 if you happen to get a really good grade, like a 4 or 5 I would say would be good.
Good luck on the test, AP tests are a lot of fun!

I think the only way it could hurt you is if you are applying for a science, social science, or mathematical degree straight out of high school. In that case, they'd want to see what courses you've taken similar to that subject and how you fared on them. If you don't want to study any statistical-related majors in college, then you shouldn't have to worry about it.

No, one score from one exam does not affect the scores of other exams. Colleges won't really care if you do poorly on one exam, especially if you do fair to well on others.
