The Pythagorean theorem was apparently proven in more than one way yet it is still called a theorem.

Is this simply because of the namesake so people don't forget.

I still think that it could be called the Pythagorean law without any problems.

All the songs on my Windows Media Player whether they be .mp3 or .wma files all start to skip at the end of the song. The beggining and middle are all fine but towards the end of the song for about 2-7 seconds the song starts to skip and the sound is really annoying. The songs are all fine because I they all play fine on my mp3 player which synchronizes with Windows media player, so it isn't the song that is corrupted. Also, when playing the song through a CD through Windows Media player the song is fine as well. So I'm pretty sure the problem has to do with the Windows Media Player playing the song.

Is there anything I can do to fix this problem or should I just try using a different player and if so which one?

The question is that the half-life of cesium-137 is 30.2 years. What fraction of cesium remains after 3 years.

I understand that to get the time that passed I divide 3 over 30.2. t=3/30.2

I round off to get 1/10.

So my formula looks like Nn/No=(1/2)^1/10

Afterwards my work goes to a certain extent and I get confused.

I know a lot of stuff went to the moon in the 60's, 70's and 80's. Some of these objects were not supposed to come back to earth and are now just left. Some objects that I know of are the American flag, the American and Russian lunar rovers and such. But exactly how many objects have been left on the moon?

I understand that these were the two biggest revolutionary organizations in Russia prior to the revolutions, but my question is what is the difference in their ideologies and the way that they conducted their revolutionary activities. Also, if possible, could the main leaders and proponents of these two be named.

The Swedish attacked the Russians and tried to cross a lake to get to the Russians, but their armour and weapons were too heavy and the ice under the Swedes broke and most of the army drowned, giving the Russians the victory.

I just took the SAT 2 Subject Tests. I took Math IC and Biology E. I believe I did well on the Math part but I am afraid that my bad Bio grade could harm my college app process. My school that I have already applied to and sending the scores to requires 2 SAT 2 Subject Tests. I already had 2 but both were history related and thats why i took Math and Bio in the first place. What should I do to not harm my chances of getting into my school.

P.S. I already applied Early Decision there so the application is all finished. I just left the parts blank for the 2 SAT 2 Subject Tests that I was going to take.

Hey, I have a 7.75 by 31.5 board. I got it made complete so all stuff supposidly matches. But here's the deal. The deck is getting really old and I feel that it's gonna break any day now. I found a new deck that I like but the size is 7.625 by 31.25. Will I have any problems fitting the trucks onto the new deck?

Some info is that the two decks are made by different companies.

I am not sure how to do this because I have never done it before. I am taking 2 SAT Subject Tests in November and need to send my scores by rush delivery because I am doing Early Decision to a school. However, I see no option letting me send my scores by rush delivery on the CollegeBoard website. Do I first need to take the test and then contact Collegeboard or do I call in advance to let them know?

This company produces really nice sunglasses but I'm wondering, what makes their products so expensive, why do they charge so much for a pair of sunglasses?

Is it worth to get their product?

I was just wondering, there are a lot of leagues in the Fifa games but I noticed that they exclude the Russian league, African leagues, Argentinian league, and others. I know definetely that these leagues and teams are licensed with FIFA so why not put them in. The Russian league has been doing great considering CSKA Moscow won the UEFA Cup in 2005 and the St. Petersburg Zenit reached the quaterfinals of the UEFA Cup in 2006. The Argentinian league is one the most powerful leagues in the world now as well. So why does EA and FIFA not put those leagues and teams in the game?

I have a bit of a problem. I already registered to take the SAT again in October and I want to take two more SAT 2's after that. But the day before the November test is a concert I really want to go to. There is a testing day in December but I'm wondering if its too late to take a test in December, get results and still have time and everything to send out applications to colleges.

P.S. I'm not really looking for any early decision, early action things, pretty much just regular applications.

I just recently broke a really crappy skateboard and I need to replace. The one I broke was just some old one with terribel bearing and a falling apart deck. Anyway now I need a new skateboard and not sure which one to get. I just want your opinion and I'll see what happens.

I am taking the AP Statistics exam tommorrow and unfortunately I don't feel as though I will do good even after a lot of studying. I was wondering if it would hurt me in any way and hurt my chances of getting into a good college?

Also I have taken the AP Glbal exam and got a 4 on it.

I will also take future exams such as the AP US History, AP AB Calculus and others.

Will the potentially bad grade on Statistics affect those other exams if colleges want to look at all of them?
