What is the name of the battle between the Russian and Swedish when the Swedish army drowned in a lake?

The battle was during the very early times between 1200-1400. The battle occured during the winter. The Swedish attacked the Russians and tried to cross a lake to get to the Russians, but their armour and weapons were too heavy and the ice under the Swedes broke and most of the army drowned, giving the Russians the victory.

Thank you in advance!

Battle of the Ice (a.k.a. Battle of Lake Peipus) in 1242.

It was actually a battle of the Northern Crusades, between the Republic of Novgorod and a branch of the Teutonic Knights.

Not the Swedes, but the Teutonic Knights, at the battle of Lake Peipus in 1242.It's also known as the Ice Battle.

You're confusing this battle with the Battle of the Neva River (1240) when the Russians defeated a Swedish invasion.
