A classy name?

The father's last name is Ratherdel. He likes Reed for a boy but it sounds weird to me. I like Jake Bryan better. For a girl we like Audrey, Kate or Tyler Joanna. I love the name Kaylin as well but the dad thinks it sounds too made up. Please help with some ideas for a classy but not overused names?

I like Jake Reed for a boy or Brian Reed.

I like Audry Kate but not Tyler. I do like Joanna though. I love Kaylin!!! My pick would probably be either Kaylin Taylor or Audrey Kate or Kaylin Joanna

I really like Reid. I prefer the spelling with an i though...I am not sure about Reid Ratherdel though...Prefer to stay away from the same beginning sounds...

I really like Kate. Audrey is pretty. I am not a huge fan of Tyler for a girl. I much prefer Taylor. Tyler for a girl seems more trendy rather than classy...

Names that seem classy are pretty easy to think of BUT when you add in names that are not overused then you run into some problems! :)

Do you want to use the middle names Joanna and Bryan?

    Maybe:

    Lydia Joanna Ratherdel

    Cara Joanna Ratherdel

    Mya Joanna Ratherdel

    Ainsley Joanna Ratherdel

    Sophie Joanna Ratherdel

    Leah Joanna Ratherdel

    Brooke Joanna Ratherdel

    Lauren Joanna Ratherdel

    Megan Joanna Ratherdel

    Grace Joanna Ratherdel

    Avery Joanna Ratherdel

    Max Bryan Ratherdel

    Jack Bryan Ratherdel

    Cameron Bryan Ratherdel

    Nicholas Bryan Ratherdel

    Chase Bryan Ratherdel

    Lucas Bryan Ratherdel

    Andrew Bryan Ratherdel

    Colby Bryan Ratherdel

    Mason Bryan Ratherdel

  • I like Kate for a girl or Caitlyn

    Reed Michael Ratherdel

    Michael Reed Ratherdel

    Mathew Reed Ratherdel

    Mathew Jake Ratherdel

    Jake Allen Ratherdel

Reed is a tough name to use as a first name but works well as a middle name.

Jake is ok but I am not partial to the name Bryan ( Brian)

With a long last name like that, you need something short. Do you have any family names that would work? I like the name Jake for a boy; for a girl, how about Jill or Leah? Kaylin is pretty but her class will be full of similar names--Kaitlyn, for example, is SO trendy. Try to find something classic but not trendy. Trendy names get really dated later--check and see how many Debbies were born in the '50s. Good luck!

Well I like some that you already have. I like Jake Bryan. I also don't prefer Reed. For girls I also love the name Kaylin and I also love Kate.

I love the name Tyler Joanna. Very pretty. I prefer Jake for a boy, but I am not crazy about the name Bryan.

    Boy-Jacob Reed

    Girl-Kaylin Renee

I like Kate and Jake. What about Jonathon Reed Ratherdel, that sounds good together. My only caution with Jake is that a neighbor thought "Jake" was different, but when his son started pre-school there were four other jakes in his class. Five altogether... kinda crazy.

I like the name Jake. Could you compromise and name him Jacob Reed Ratherdel (you could call him Jake), that a nice name.

For the girl I don't really like any of them, I do like Taylor (Tyler just sounds too masculine for me.) and Taylor goes well with Joanna.

Good luck with whatever you decide.

I like Joanna with that last name. How about using grandpa or dad's name as the first and Reed as the middle?
