why do men insist on hurting the one person who truly loves them?
I have been with my husband for seven years and all of a sudden he tells me taht he does not want to be with me anymore. and he doesn't know why. i had no idea anything was even wrong, so we split up the next day he changed his mind and he does this every two weeks for a month and a half. the last time we split up i stayed gone for five days. so we are back together now but i have to give him space how much space is to much he goes out almost everynight that he is not working. and things are different i feel like he just wants me around because of everything that i do for him and because of our children. I do not want to leave him I just do not understand why he does not want to spend anytime with me if he wants to be with me.

A relationship consists only of what you are in agreement on. It would do you well to find out if you are in agreement or not on every item that is not working or is upsetting either of you. You may not like the answers you get but you will be better off knowing where you stand. If you can't talk about these issues you don't have the tools to make a relationship work.

I'd suggest a marriage counsellor. Or some sort of counsellor.
