Why am I receiving duplicate emails from YA?
In the last couple of days, YA has sent me two consecutive emails each time I get awarded best answer to a question.
This happening to anyone else? Any idea why?

They know about it. It is the latest glitch from the new update. They are working to fix it and ask for our patience. Here is Jane's (STAFF) answer to this question yesterday:
It's not just you who's receiving the duplicate emails for best answer notifications, and we're investigating the cause so we can get these emails back on track. We apologize for any inconvience this may have caused and hope to get it fixed soon.

The download that occured on Sunday has caused this glitch. They are working on it, but it could take up to a week to resolve

sounds like a yahoo problem ,they must have email info bug

this has been happening to me as well, others too
i don't know why but it started after Y!A carried out there maintenance
