Can I be forgiven for giving a bad answer?

I deleted the answer after some thought , but I feel bad about the answer. SORRY!!!!!!!!! I had stated that (its) is not a word when it is actually the possessive without thinking it through.

When I make a mistake, and I know it, I go back and edit my answer. On one I left the original but just put a note of apology along with my corrected answer!

I hope we are forgiven for our mistakes by this community.

I just made a mistake on a wordplay question that was immediately picked up by the answerer. Oops. Just proves we're all human.

Of course. We all do it. once in a while. Personally, I don't feel people should even down thumb an error, as long as a genuine attempt has been made to give a reply to the question.

Yes. I have also experienced this one before...

It was when I discovered a person who has multiple accounts here...You know, the asker and the answerer is only one. Of course, he will choose himself!

And he has one question open...I answered, "ask REY MYSTERIO, i'm sure he'll be the best answerer here...AM I RIGHT?" But i'm not that bad...so my conscience knocked and i deleted that answer...

    Here, take a look:
