I need a good game for the ps2 or the DS?

Get God Of War or God of War 2 cool games and for the DS I'd get Meteos,Wario Ware Touched!,Phoenix Wright Justice For All,Pokemon Diamond (or Pearl),Big Brain Academy,Brain Age Train Your Brain In Minutes,And Kinda cool Cooking Mama

Try Final Fantasy 12 for the PS2 and Advance Wars: Dual Strike for the DS

Since you liked the Jak and Daxter series, you should get games from the Ratchet and Clank series( the newest one is Dead lock, but Up your Arsenal is a pretty good game). The kingdom hearts series is also a pretty good game, that's if you like RPG like games. Umm, the god of war series is also a pretty good game, and so are the prince of persia games(only if you like puzzle like games).

For the ds, pokemon diamond and pearl are good games. Maybe the new super mario bros. and maybe mario kart. The multiplayer on metroid prime hunters is pretty fun also.

Mercinaries. Shadow of the Colosus. X-2.

If you liked Jak and Daxter then i would recommend .Hack//Infection or the Kingdom Hearts series. Both our very great games

Listen to me carefully...Please take my advice...Get Resident Evil 4, its the greatest game to ever grace the ps2. Also, maybe if your into Mortal Kombat games, get Armageddon...Have fun and good luck!
