Are the sabres going all the way or what?

Do you want the answer from the heart, or from the brain? My heart says that Buffalo can pull out the series, my mind hays to say the stats and averages are against them. Ottawa held the series advantage during the season, that Buffalo could overcome. What Buffalo is going to have a difficult time addressing in such a short period of time is their special teams. They are giving up too may powerplay goals, and not generating any of their own. How you fix this is a day is beyond me, but I'm not an NHL coach. That is what Lindy gets paid to do. The game tonight could be the series. Buffalo down 0-2 would be a daunting task to overcome. Going to Ottawa 1-1 could be the kick Buffalo needs. And this is why I was pulling for Jersey to win the series with Ottawa. Buffalo would have crushed New Jersey.

The Sabres can go all the way but they need to play a lot better than they did the first game. Being the President"s Cup winner does not mean that teams will roll over for you. It only means that other teams have a bullseye on your back!!! Buffalo has the best coach in the NHL and can get his team going again!!! After all one game doesn't mean anything unless it's game 7. I'm sure Buffalo will bring their "A" game and it will be a very enjoyable series! I believe the Sabre's will take it in 6 , possibly 7, but they will prevail in the end !! Only to play Anaheim and again it will be decided late in the series!! The team that wins it all will find a way to win on the road!!!

The fact is the teams, Sens and Sabres, are so close it could go either way...except for the awful goalie in Ottawah...either way the western team gets beat by the beast of the east

Hoorah!! I am so glad that Buffalo is going down the tubes. It's so sweet to see them two down. They always forget to give credit where credit is due. Buffalo wouldn't have even been in the playoffs if they didn't have a team made up of almost.exclusively Rochester Amerks players. Amd we would have been a cup contender if Buffalo hadn't dessimated our tream. Well, reliable sources tell me that the Rochester-Buffalo affiliation will be ended over the off season. Thanks be to God. I say....."GO SENS!!! OTTAWA- GET OUT THE BROOMS!!!! And Mr. Golisano, have you forgotten where you are from and where you made all of your money??? You give nothing to Rochester, but enjoy using us.

they have the talent to win but they need to start shooting the puck more(per lindy ruff)that's the only way to score look at the sens that is what they did.and they need to watch taking so many penalties,but every team you watch play the sens end up in the penalty box a lot more than they do.

If the Senators win another game, you can certainly kiss any cup chances in Buffalo goodbye.

AS long as they get their heads out of their butts and DONT play the way they did on Thursday, they got a chance. They lose tonight. I doubt they are going to win.

their depth is unbelivable ... with a 3 rd line like Afinogenox Roy and Vanek ... you can ask for better then this ..... With solid play they will win it this year .... last season the sens series took a lot of of them ... This year they are ready
