What group am I describing?
1) Highly motivated by religion.
2) Poorly educated, doubtful about science, but don't really understand it.
3) Thinks quality media is a conspiracy by the decadent and 'soft'.
4) Prone to resort to military means to solve political disputes.
In fact I wrote this question after viewing a news story about the Taliban's destruction of giant Buddhas and museum artifacts in southern Afghanistan.
Nice to see that the plague of unquestioning Republicans here rarely answered 'the Taliban' to my description, but they saw themselves first.
However, I can't consider anyone who thinks the Book of Genesis more convincing than evolution by natural selection (and this is common to both Muslims and Christians) to be 'well educated'.
