Anyone willing to donate an iPod to a child with Asperger's Syndrone?
I am a simple working man and all my little nephew can talk about is an ipod to play music on. His mom has a fixed budget with her husband in Iraq in the Army so I am praying I can make his dream come true. Anyone willing to be an angel?

If your nephew would like an Ipod so much, then maybe you could set up a reward thing. Have a sticker chart or something and keep track of how many days he goes with or without a certain behavior. Ex. temper tantrums, getting school work done... If you just give him what he wants, it will teach him to ask you again for something for nothing.

I don't have one sorry. But perhaps you could try one of your local churches that donates to the needy. I know the programs are out there. Also try the Salvation Army. And don't listen to that rude person who wrote something about get one for yourself, there is nothing wrong you asking for your nephew, they probably think you are trying to get one for yourself. I know there are some good people still left out there and I think you great for trying. Keep trying because who knows maybe this will help your nephew with his Aspergers
Try anything to get him out of his shell though don't let it go on he needs your interaction as a good uncle as well as the iPod
God Bless and Good Luck!!!

I have sympathy for those with illnesses...
But just because they have an illness it doesn't make them anymore special than everyone else.
Eg; if i asked a question saying is anyone willing to donate an ipod to me everyone would just say "Go and buy you're own".
I know that people with Aspergers Syndrome can sometimes get fixated on certain things...
But that doesn't make it any different than a person without it asking for one.
Maybe you should buy him one if he wants one that badly, you are his family too.
