Walking shoes, UK?

Anyone know where I can buy a pair of walking/ light hiking / approach shoes that aren't made out of (have no) leather in the UK?

I've tried vegan shoes but they get sweaty. I don't want to spend too much money (no more than £50) but am on my feet all day and walk several hundred miles a year to / from work so need something comfortable.

Summer use, mens, casual style. Any recommendations appreciated!

The vegan shoes are ok depending on what socks you wear. You need a thin silk or nylon inner sock which wick away sweat followed by a sweat absorbing outer sock which keeps your feet and boots dry. Check what is available in blacks/ millets and a good old army and navy store.

    Tough one.

I have some Merrell walking boots that are totally synthetic, and supremely comfortable that I wear for going up and down mountains. Not sure I'd wear them all day at work though.

How about something like ebay item 250111219750.

    Any good?
