In a sense a B16 turbo'd can be a devastating weapon on the track, but turbo'd cars are a lot more of a responsibility compared to a N/A motor. I'd go for the K20 if you got the $$$$, plus there's enough aftermarket support for it to crank out some serious HP. I'm more in favor of the N/A approach. It's a true to honda fanatics I think. Good luck with either plan.

If you have a very clean chassis, a budget of about $6000, you should carefully consider it. k20 on a CRX yields awesome power but its not as easy of a swap as a b16. The complete swap setup is selling for $4500 on ebay.

outdated budget estimate but still good info:

Swapping a k20 motor into a crx of that year would be difficult and not very cost efficient. I dont know much about your setup but, it would require alot of custom modifications to make it work. Not to mention k20 motors are OBD2, your crx is OBD0 yet again requiring more modifications. The horsepower gains will not be worth the money you would dump into it, I would most def. keep the setup you have now, and keep biulding on that with various bolt-ons, etc.

if you going na yea that k20 sounds like a good idea or even a crvtec na is good..with that you could use your b16 head on there and become a pretty good engine...bc that k20 gonna be expensive the engine alone cost more then your car

Can you put in shocks? What, is it missing the OEM shocks or any shocks at all? lol It should have shocks - if not, that car needs to not be driven, and yes you can change out the shocks. You'll have to find replacement OEM springs & shocks if you want stock height - lowering puts more stress on the shocks so if it's raised back to stock height it's a good idea to replace the schocks. Most likely it's on cut springs or some type of aftermarket springs.

YES that would be amazing, plus the k20 has better torque than the b16. b16a's are cool, but if you're going all out, go with the k20a.
