i have an alternative hip hop group for you too. these guys are amazing... it boggles my mind that they dont have a record deal! they do play at 21+ clubs though so they're up and coming. my homegirl's friend is the guy who plays the sick bass guitar backgrounds. check them out and if you like them, please spread the word... =)

oh yeah and i forgot one of my favorite underground bands who has a new album but have been around for awhile is a bay area group called HIEROGLYPHICS. check out these guys too... they're great and like i said one of my favorites.
