  • Kanye VS. 50. Kanye sold more. AND?!?!?!?

I'm just curious about a couple of things. First, I wanna know what the Curtis groupies think about their hero being outsold by a younger, more talented rapper who makes his money without spitting rhymes that make all black people look bad.

    Yes, I dissed 50.

The second thing is: Kanye is not my favorite rapper by far, but I picked him to do better than Curtis because I think that 50's style of sellout rap is coming to an end, and I think that people are starting to want to hear real music again. But like I said, I picked Kanye. Everybody's so hyped up on them, and since I'm one of the people that picked the winning side I want to ask, where's my Kanye prize?

Do we get a cut of the sales or something?

    What's the big deal?

  • No Love For Common?

His new CD Finding Forever just dropped yesterday, but there's nothing on Yahoo Answers about it.

Has anybody heard it yet? What do you think?

Why are there so many questions about Lil Wayne, and Jeezy, and a bunch of other scrub rappers but no one is talking about Common?

  • Are Crunk, Chopped and Screwed, and whatever other styles you want to name REALLY different types of Hip Hop?

I mean, I just don't see how so I'd appreciate if someone can explain this to me. In my opinion, just because you add some bells and whistles to something doesn't make it original.

Don't they still sample people? Don't they still loop up very simple beats? So if I add a flute to the sample I'm using, how does that make it a DIFFERENT TYPE of Hip Hop?

If I get a bike, and put different wheels on it from the ones it came with, does that mean I have a new bike???

  • Celtics Fans: Will you sign this?

It's a link to a petition site. In 4 years Ainge has not produced a team as good as the one he took apart. He tanked last season and almost stalked Durrant THINKING that he had the #1 pick. When he didn't get it, they didn't know what to do and Danny traded away the fifth pick in this year's DEEP draft for Ray Allen, his contract, and giving up 1 ans 1/2 players. (I don't count Wally Z as a whole player because in two years we could never count on him. ANOTHER bad move by Ainge.) So when I found this on the Yahoo message boards for the Celtics, I had to sign it. Will you?

  • What are some theories for creating artificial gravity?

I think this is a MUST HAVE for any kind of truly long term attempt we make at space travel because the loss of bone density and muscle mass, plus the weakening of the circulatory system after being in space for only 2 years would more than likely be more than a human could endure AND expect to be able to return to a nomal gravity enviornment once we reached our destination. So I'd love to hear some ideas on ways to reproduce gravity, OTHER THAN attaching a ratating section to the vessel. Thanks!

  • What is the etymology of the surname, "Diggs"?

I was told that it's of Irish origin, yet I can't find any refrence to this on the internet. Please let me know if this is the case. I wish I could also give extra points to anyone who can provide a meaning for this name. Other family names are more obvious, like Hill for example. Brits named Hill more than likely had ancestors who lived near one. Samething applies to the Smiths, and Joneses of the world. It's not a totally uncommon name, so I'm hoping maybe one of you guys will know...

  • What kind of propulsion could help future space missions?

I mean, everybody except NASA sees that you just don't get good space mileage on rocket fuel. Space is just too big, and gas tanks won't get us out of our own backyard. There is Ion Propulsion. That has been proven to work in the probes the launched with it. That could potentially take you near light speed. Wonder why they aren't trying to upgrade? And yes, I'm aware that we would all be stains on the wall if we could go that fast, but I'm hoping they develop a way around that too, so no need to mention the G force thing in your answers. I'm just curious about propulsion options since obviously liquid fuel doesn't work.

  • What's some good new underground Hip Hop out there?

I'm looking for rappers like Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Common, The Roots, Skillz, Saigon, Jurrasic 5... Not that club hoppin', bling-bling, crunk, mainstream b/s. So please don't tell me about 50, Snoop, Diddy, Yung Onez, Young Jezzy, Dip Set or any of that stuff that passes for rap. I'm looking for the real hip hop, IF it's still out there. I'm looking for the people who rap for the art of it, or have something to say.
