No Love For Common?
His new CD Finding Forever just dropped yesterday, but there's nothing on Yahoo Answers about it.
Has anybody heard it yet? What do you think?
Why are there so many questions about Lil Wayne, and Jeezy, and a bunch of other scrub rappers but no one is talking about Common?

Or Butters or whatever you want to call yourself. Like I said, Your mother sucks.

i think its awesome. i've heard that its not as good as 'be' from a lot of people but i think its just as good or better. it has a different sound than 'be'. but common is a true genius, a REAL hip hop artist. i honestly don't even know much about lil wayne...i just dont bother with anything but the best hip hop thats out there. but honestly, common's music is so powerful, i nothing but respect for him.

I just picked up the new Common and it's the sh*t as usual.... I've been dying for this album to drop, I read about it a year ago and have been patiently waiting...
The People, The Game, Black Maybe, So Far to Go, Break My Heart... the whole albums is great... the only track I'm not partial to is "Driving me Wild" and that's just because of the beat... but it's classic Common and a reminder to everyone that Hip-Hop is Alive and well...

It's not bad, I just think he had too much Kanye. I wanted another J Dilla track or two! People don't talk much about Common cause he's not on the mainstream level as other far less talented rappers such as Wayne and Jeezy. If people realized that Common is just being real and talking about real life and love, people would respect him. Just a thought...

ive seen a couple of threads about "finding forever" but i agree, there's so much stuff about lil wayne, jeezy, and soulja boy, yet no ones talkin about Common <<<< thats a REAL legend right there..anyways, i've heard this CD and I think there can be a solid argument for it to be the best release so far this year, his lyrics were nearly flawless, alot of nice cuts on that album, favorite tracks are: southside and u black maybe.

I've heard mixed reviews about the album. I see one person said it's not better than BE, but I've heard one person say that this album will be considered a hip-hop classic in a couple of years. I have heard about 6 songs from the album. I'll have to listen to the whole thing to make a judgment.

I got it.. of course a true hip hop head would get it regardless. I liked it alot, break my heart and black maybe are definitely my favorites though.
i was a little disappointed to be honest, just cause three of the tracks were on kanye's cant tell me nothing mixtape.. and three of the other songs i got months ago, so it was not entirely a "new:" album for me. it was nice there was a jdilla track on there, even though that's one of the ones that i already heard. i also love that he did a collabo with lily allen, just shows how great and openminded common is to working with talent REGARDLESS of the genre.
its definitely different, common did a lot of name dropping.. kinda lets you know what kind of world we are living in now.. calling kanye the new premo...... that's HOT.. i love premier and i LOVE kanye so that was a good comparison. Be was a good album.. so was electric circus, but i think com can add another trophy to his list of great albums. :)

I got it today and I have already heard it... It's a classic album in my opinion...
With Jeezy, Wayne and T.I. droppign subpar material, Common is what Hip Hop needs....

I agree that Common gets no type of love, and it's a shame. I heard a few songs of of his album. I personally like the ones he did with Kanye West and D'Angelo.
Support Common, a REAL lyricist!

well ya know the saying real recognizes real...i guess most current hip hop fans aren't real..
common = real hip-hop
lil wayne, t.i., young jeezy, etc. = garbage, fake azz sellout rap, with nothing real or significant.
