Hello i have some pregnancy price questions?

Hello I am pregnant. I got denied state assistance during my pregnancy, and i researched way too many insurance sites with no results. So.... overall i was wondering what the cost is of having a baby? Like doctor visits/sonogram(labwork)/delivery, i want to have this baby, but i just need to know how much i am going to have to dish out! anyways, thank you for the input :)

If you are below the yearly quota for your county, which is based on the number of people in your household, you can repeal the denial for medical. Always try to reapply, the minimum quotas constantly change according to the price of living. I am pregnant. I know that ultrasounds are about 100.00 each. One doctor visit runs around 75.00. Then you have a glucose test you have to get once during your second trimester. Also, you have to plan for any unexpected tests such as stress tests and non-stress tests. Plan for any other complications as well. Then you have hospitalization while you are giving birth and for recovery. Having a baby is very very expensive. You most likely are looking at a couple thousand by the time it is all over. And the expense doesn't end there, you have diapers and other baby supplies for a long time. Just take it easy and try not to worry about the expense that much By law no doctor is allowed to turn you down because you can't pay. As my mom has told me, a true american is in debt. As is our entire government. Good luck, congrats, and God bless.

It depend totally on several factors-

Your OBGYN. See someone from a clinic or practice with a sliding fee scale and interns for lower fees.

Complications- any complications can result in additional fees. Ultrasounds are very expensive.

Delivery- vaginal vs. c-section, natural vs. epidural, etc.

It's impossible to give you an exact figure because it will depend so greatly on all the above factors. My last child came with a price tag of just over 16k, but there were some problems. Fortunately I did have good insurance so I paid only a very very small bit of that.
