We had a nice 3 weeks where it was hot and people wear all wearing their tshirts and shorts (I was wearing jeans, a tshirt and a jacket). But this week has been cold again and people are dressing more warmly but probably not in full winter gear. Today I wore a tshirt, cords, two cardigans and a winter coat, because I feel the cold. But people I saw were wearing jeans with tshirts and hoodies. It is very individual, some people feel the cold and some don't!

I work outside all year round and I was wearing T-Shirts back in March. 2 weeks ago was T-Shirt and Shorts week. Last week was Waterproof Coat weather, but today (Monday) was T-shirt day again!

Last year I was still wearing T-Shirt and shorts in late October.

We actually get less rain in Britain than they have in France, but we don't get the same hot months.

The answer to your question is both summer and winter, it just depends on the day and also what temperatures you are used to.

At the moment more winter than summer, but the weather is so changeable that next week it could be back to shorts and t-shirts!

Funny enough yes. Its not because us brits are tigh-fisted (well so of us are), but typical british weather often being far too unpredictable to get the bikini and sarongs out.

However, when there is sunshine, we are practically stripped bare, in a mad rush to lap up sun, sea and sand. However, always are stuck in the traffic jams that head towards the coastal beaches.

depends on the weather. May can be quite changeable. This time last week for instance it was very nice but over the weekend it has been inclement.

Depends on the weather!! i had to wear a coat today!! but 2 weeks ago i was wearing shorts and t-shirts!! so it differs due to weather!

Both and either, often on the same day I'm afraid. Seriously it can be as hot as a midsummer day and freezing cold in the same week.
