How can i reverse my electric meter????
I have got a huge problem...need some advice..im a student so its quite serious..I rent a flat and i havent paid elctricity for almost 1 year and when i calculated the sum is arnd 1000pounds..but its still not disconnected.. is there a way to reverse it back? or just put on hold or something?? Plz help!!!
No one has come to check the current electrioc count since its locked and no one has access to it. I just found the key last week. So no way the elctric company knows the real numbers and its not a hi-tech system just old type manual meter

remove your meter and turn it upside down and then put it back in...............

No, and even if you do, they monitor it. If they see that it is reversed, the number they wrote down will be larger than the current one, you can be charged with tampering. If you put it on hold or something, they will investigate to see if you are living without power. Either way, they will know. If you are concerned about the bill, you should talk to the company to arrange a payment plan.

You can confuse a meter by shifting the phase with a large capacitive load. It's illegal, dishonest and potentially dangerous - and if you get the sums wrong you might actually speed it up.

Install a wind generator and produce more electricity than you use and you can then sell the excess back to the electric company and pay your bill..

how did you calculate it ; dont tamper with it cause its a felony and you can call them and make arrangements to pay off slowly

no, you can't reverse it. you'll probably get a fine for tampering with it. maybe the rent INCLUDES electricity? that's why it ain't disconnected?
