Who developed Microsoft Project when it was a DOS program?

Microsoft Project V1 is commonly known as the first Project program. It is not. It was originally developed in DOS. Does anyone remember who developed it?

Update:

Update 2:

oracle,

Project for Windows was started in 1987. There was a DOS predecessor. The DOS version may well have been developed by the same 'small company'.

Could you be thinking of Applied Business Technology ?

They had a product called Project Workbench which was originally developed way back in the the MS-DOS era, ported to Windows 3.1 and finally re-incarnated into an open source project.

It doesn't who, but it wasn't Microsoft. Microsoft bought the company in 1988, but the project was started in 1987. Microsoft bought the company and then finished it and sold it under their company name.

I have a big feeling it was Mr. Money bags himself, he was mostly the P.R. of the windows, but he did code in the old days. now I do not mean it was a solo effort... thats the best I can do.
