Where do you think your soul goes when you die?

We sleep until judgment, then heaven and hell come into play.

The Bible tells us that the instant you die, you are taken to heaven or Hell based on whether you had received Christ as your Savior or not. For believers, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord (2 Corinthians 5:6-8; Philippians 1:23). For unbelievers, death means everlasting punishment in Hell (Luke 16:22-23).

If you place your faith in Jesus as your Lord and Saviour, He will save your soul to be with Him. We will be given a new body, and Revelation tells us that we will inhabit the New Jerusalem - the Holy City from God with a New Heaven and New Earth.

Otherwise, you will be thrown into the lake of fire - the second death - to be tormented by fire and brimstone, day and night, forever and ever -- there is no hope of respite, escape, or ever ending. There is no salvation...no Redeemer...complete and utter seperation from a perfect, just, True, and righteous God.

I am not convinced of having a soul and I do not believe in either heaven or hell. I think when a person dies that is it, nothing more.

I think at first your soul sticks around, to make sure all their loved ones are ok, and dealing with your death, if not they help ease the pain with visits from the other side, and when they feel like it is time to go on, then they go to heaven, or i also heard, that all souls are sticking around, close to us, we just can't see them, until the end of the world comes around, then we all go to heaven together..

It depends on the level of consciousness attained at the time your physical body dies. You will remain in that consciousness, which coud be heaven or hell. At any given point you can make the decision to reincarnate back to the physical plane to give it another shot if you are not satisfied with where you reside.

I think that what we regard as the "soul" is the result of the electro-chemical activity of the brain. When each of us dies, that activity stops. We then cease to be.

Consequently, no, I don't believe in heaven or hell.

once we resolve the burdens of our soul the spirit accends to the fathers house [if heaven]

or falls [is sucked down to hell]

It goes to Heaven or hell, pending the trial.

If you explain to me what a soul IS then i may be able to tell you what happens to it after you die.
