With the exception of Hawaii, what is the best state in the U.S.A.?
Texas is pretty cool; I like Illinois too.
How 'bout you?

I love Florida. The ocean, the gulf, all the fun stuff to do. The fact that you can buy a nice oceanfront house and still pay way less than California. Plus all the great job opportunities that exist in that state too.
Not to mention Spring Training, where you can still go to an old-fashioned ballpark and see big players and not pay an arm and a leg to get in. : )

Well, since you have already said Hawaii (rats!!!!!), I will say Tennessee.
Of course, you can't feel any breezes from the ocean or anything like that, but there are plenty of hills that you drive around (gotta watch out fer them "hairpin curves" they'll get ya ever time)!!!
Plenty of trees things to do.

I'm a Washington state, Colorado type girl myself. Like fresh air and mountains. And no humidity... and four seasons... and winter sports... and Jack in the Box...

California all the way! I like Hawaii too, but California is my favorite. From it's wide open fields, to oceansides, to cities with bright lights, California is the state for me.

Depends on what your criteria is for determining the best state but I would have to say California because we have a little of everything to suit just about anyone's tastes.

Well, I'd naturally say my home state, so...Colorado. It's got Cave Of The Winds, hiking, Denver, clean air, fun, um...Six Flags, Garden Of The Gods, and lots of other stuff.
